As the month of Muharram begins, we remember the timeless message of Karbala a message of faith, sacrifice, and dignity.
Imam Husayn (a.s) taught humanity that honor is worth more than life itself. On the plains of Karbala, he declared:
"Indeed, I do not see death except as happiness, and life with the oppressors except as misery."
And when forced to choose between submission and dignity, he proclaimed:
"Far from us is humiliation."
(Hayhat minna al-dhillah)
Muharram reminds us that truth must be upheld even when the cost is great, and that dignity should never be traded for worldly gain.
May Allah grant us the strength to follow the path of Imam Husayn (a.s.) and uphold justice, patience, and faith in our lives.
