I have read somewhere that Imam's own community will go against him and he will kill them.

I am not the best person to answer this but from what little i know his Army will be amongst the best (like that of our 3rd Holy imam(as)). the Imam (ATFS) will be able to know if a person is MUSLIM or KAFIR(INCLUDING "MUSLIMS") by putting a sword on the persons forehead. He will kill ALL the kafirs and inshallah the world will be the heaven on earth.
and if possible can we have the reference of what you said.

I hope you're doing well.

when Imame Zamana will re-appear, after a series of short events, a war will start, where he inshallah shall deal with the enemies of islam with the sword. The sword symbolising his power, bravery and mastery over world affairs. This war will be very fierce, The Imam will deal with the enemies very severely. Some Ahadith report that we shall be wiping sweat and blood together! Seeing the very fierce nature of the Imam's revolutionary process, some of the shias, including some shia scholars will go against the imam saying that his way is not the practice of the Ahlul bait . Tagging him as a terrorist!

Whether the Imam will kill them or not, is not in my knowledge.
We should Pray to Allah (swt) to keep us firm in our faith, so that no matter what the circumstances, may we never leave the side of the blessed imam .

Considering the current situation, we muslims MUST educate ourselves fully about the islamic law, the way the enemies of islam are trying to eliminate the religion from our hearts, by posing false sentimental arguments on human rights etc. so that when the Imam re-appears, we do not leave his side out of our ignorance!

Remember, No one is more concerned about Human rights in this world more than the Imam of our age, who is responsible for the welfare of the whole hiuman race, appointed by Allah (swt) who loves his creation 80 times more than a mother lover her child.

He is such an indicidual who has been purified by Allah (swt) from all errors. There is no room for mistakes in his work, therefore, no matter what the situation, let us all prepare from now to become the helpers of Imam during this time of ghaibat, and after Zuhoor.

There is dua taught to us by the 6th Imam , called dua al Ghareek. We are advised to recite this dia during the period of ghaiba, so as to remain firm in our faith.

Yaa Allahu, Yaa Rahmaanu, Yaa Raheem, Ya Muqallibal Quloob, Thabbit Qalbi 'ala deenik.
Meaning: O Allah, O Meciful, O Compassionate, O the changer of hearts, keep my heart firm on your religion.
