Recent news that has been circulating talks about the UAE’s proposal of large investments to South Africa persuading them to withdraw the lawsuit against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
The officials have been engaged in negotiations offering South Africa oil refinery investments in return for South Africa to either withdraw the case or minimize the charges that specifically are related to Genocide.
Despite generous offers and negotiations that lasted weeks, South Africa rejected the offers stood firm in their stance against Israel, and went ahead with the legal procedures.

While the negotiations from UAE have sparked diplomatic concerns it is noteworthy that the so-called Muslim states have turned their backs on their fellow nation Palestine for small incentives while a nation like South Africa with a majority Christian population has taken the lead in serving as a role model for the rest of the world by standing up for the oppressed ones.
