Is it permissible to take a baby/toddler who is wearing diapers inside the masjid?

Yes it permissible if we are sure that it will not leak and not make the masjid najis

what if you are sure, but you can never predict when might the baby leak. can a mother be excused on such reasons to miss her important worship like important amaal that has to b done at msq?

So if I had a bag of poop, I could take that into the mosque if I was sure it wouldnt leak? I was under the assumption that nothing najis was permitted in the area...

السؤال : إذا كان الطفل في المسجد ، وخرجت منه نجاسة ، ولكن عليه حفّاظة تمنع سريان النجاسة الى اللباس .. فهل يجب على الولي إخراجه فوراً ؟

الجواب : لا يجب ما لم يكن بحيث يستلزم هتك المسجد .
