Rehemtulla said the team would leave for Australia next Tuesday. In the Kenyan team, Keval Patel and Abdul Rajmi, at 16, are the youngest. Asiji said the purpose of the tour was to expose the juniors as they prepare for the under-19 ICC World Cup qualifiers scheduled for South Africa in August.

The World Cup will be held in England later this year."It is important to play against teams like Tanzania because they are the ones we will meet in South Africa," said Asiji.
