MINUTES OF BIZ MAGAZINE COMMITTE HELD ON 21 October 2006 at ASK OFFICE
1. ATTENDANCE
Members Present : 6
Members Absent: The Rest (Unknown value; to be determined)

2. OPENING BY ORGANIZERS
The meeting was officially started at 1515hrs by Hasin Shakur by inviting the members and thanking them for giving their time to attend the 1st meeting of the new committee
3. THE MAGAZINE
3.0 DISTRIBUTION
The 1st copy will be distributed free-of-charge to the general public (Shia Ithna-Asheri families). The 2nd copy will be sold at a price decided by the distribution sub-commmittee.
The distibution of the magazine will cover DSM, Arusha, Mombasa and Dubai Jamaats.
If the jamaat does not allow us to distribute the magazine in the mosque compound, hand delivery and / or post delivery has to be undertaken.
3.1 THE CONTENT
The following changes were made to the content section
3.1.1. Addition of a sports section. To be handled by Ali Mawji. Editor to talk to him.
3.1.2. Additon of Technology Section. To ba handled by Syed Jafar.
3.1.3. Know the Qur'ãn section to handled by Taiyaba. Jafar to shift to technology section.
3.1.4. Adition of Book Review section. To be handled by Al-Itrah Foundation / Mohaddisa.
3.1.5. Addition of Story Section (Fiction Corner?). To be handled by Mohaddisa.
3.1.6. Addition of Fun page. To be handled by Sayyeda.
3.1.7. Addition of Competions Corner. To be handled by Syed Jafar.
3.1.8. Addition of Health Corner. (unassigned)
3.1.9. Change of name from Child Care to Parenting. Will cover Q&A with Dr. Karim.
3.1.10. Addition of Advertorial page.
3.1.11. Addition of People-in-zone.
3.2 ADVERTISEMENT
3.2.1. Addition into Business Directory Listing to be given free-of-charge to poor / home business.
3.2.2. Change of Business Directory name to Biztory.
3.3 MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to Shia Ithna-Asheris as long as they are dedicated to the magazine.
3.4 DESIGNER
Jafar to talk to Ali Amirali about handling the designing and layout of the magazine.
