When someone you care dies
You wonder and puzzle 'why?'
The answers are not quickly found,
For God's secrets are hidden and well bound.
But when the comfort seems not to show itself,
God provides a sheltering bay against the waters of the gulf.
Then when times seem worst and the waters rage and roll,
You can smile bravely, from within your very soul.
And declare with truth 'It was God's tomorrow'
'Calling him home, I will not sorrow'
For as we collect the harvest, God also collects His grain.
So when the wheat waves golden yellow,
We have strength to face the pain..
