If God was to grant you 70 years of your life...

You would spend:
24 years sleeping
14 years working
8 years in amusement
6 years at the dinner table
5 years in transportation
4 years in conversation
3 years in education
3 years reading
3 years watching television

If you prayed 5 Times every day,
it would be equal to 5 months!
Think about it - its just 5 months out of 70 years that we dedicate to Allah (s.w.t)!

Salaam Alaikum.

For all of us (myself included) who think that we never have time to pray, this is a good reminder. Prayer takes up so little time, and yet we usually rush through it so fast, our brain can't recognize what we are saying (much less our tongue)! Or we delay and delay until the time is at it's end, and then rush even faster to make our prayer count. Maybe we could take some time from the TV watching years and apply them to prayer.
