NIYYAT TO BE DONE BEFORE STARTING AAMAL OF QUR'AN (during shabe Qadr)
-Ayatullah Jawad Maliki Tabrizi (The teacher of Imam Khomeini in the field of Ilm e Irfaan) advices to do the following 4 niyyat before starting Amaal of Holy Qur'an :
(1) With the wasila of the Holy Qur'an that I am keepin on my head, let my brain be strengthened/qawi
(2) Let my intelligence/aql become perfect through the Quranic knowledge.
(3) Let my aql submit to the greatness of the Holy Qur'an and it's teachings.
(4) Let my aql get blended/intermingled with the light/noor of the Holy Qur'an.
The philosophy behind these 4 niyyat if done with sincerity is to get the total complete benefit of the Aamal of the Holy Qur'an, inshaAllah.
