In Ayat 100 of Surat A'araf of the Holy Qur'an, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:--
"WE COULD PUNISH THEM (too) FOR THEIR SINS, AND SEAL UP THEIR HEARTS SO THAT
THEY COULD NOT HEAR."
The present and future generations who inherit wealth and power are warned that if they reject and rebel against the guidance of Allah Ta'ala, then the above Ayat will apply. True guidance lies in the openness of the heart in allowing for a cognitive comprehension of the outer and inner meanings of the scriptures, which then have the effect of directing human beings to a life of Righteousness... just as stated in various places of the Holy Qur'an, notably 4:155, 6: 106-108 and 63:3
May Allah, Tabaraka Wa- Ta'ala, grant us comprehensive understanding of His Book, the Sunnah of His Prophet
and direct our life to Righteousness.
