Many youths among the muslims are confused on the issue of Infallibility of the Prophets of Allah (swt). Therefore it is of great importance to discuss the questions and doubts we may have that may result because of failure to understand various verses of the Holy Qur'an.
For example, let us read the various verses that narrate the story of Prophet Adam from the Holy Qur'an and list down the various questions that come to mind.
Verses to read:
Chapter 2, verses 30-39
Chapter 7, verses 19-25
Chapter 20, verses 116-126
Various questions I have come up with:
1. Was the eating of the forbidden fruit by Prophet Adam a 'sin'?
2. Was the expulsion from heaven, the punishment for the 'sin'?
3. if it was not a sin then how can we explain the Allah (swt)'s use of words such as 'Ẓãlimeen' and 'disobeyed' and 'he erred'
Please add to the above discussion and answer the questions/add your own.
