Salaam alaikum,
I was wondering if anyone knows what language is that in and what it means?

(wasalam)

Its in urdu/arabic.

It refers to the wasiyat (will) of Imam Hussain on the day of Ashura where he remembered his shias and asked them to remember his thirst every-time they drink water.

I dont have a translation of the arabic but perhaps someone does.

Latakofi yaume ashura jami antanda zaroni
Kefas sa ti le tiflil khubo ha ayyar habuni
Rough translation of Imam's words:
If you (my shias) were here on the day of Ashura you would have witnessed
How for my little baby i was begging for water

شيعتي مهما شربتم عذب ماء فاذكروني ** أوسمعتم بغريب او شهيد فانذبون

فأنا السبط الذي من غير جرم قتلوني ** و بجرد الخيل بعد القتل عمدا سحقوني

ليتكم في يوم عاشورا جميعا تنظروني ** كيف استسقي لطفلي فابوا ان يرحموني
The above is the arabic

Rough translation:

Oh my shias whenever you drink water do my zikr (remember me vocally)
Or hear about the ghareeb and shaheed who was slaughtered

I am sibt (of your Prophet), for which crime am i being killed?
(not too sure of the meaning of this line)

Only if you were with me on the day of Ashura you would have all witnessed
How i begged water for my infant but they did not have any mercy

Asalaam alayka ya aba Abdillah
