What is the difference between miracles and magic?

wel miracles obviously are the powers given to Highly religious people according to the time and knowledge of existing people
magic..ummm...trickery and dilisuons with temperoy effects???
The Staff Of Musa turning into a snake was a miracle ate up all the Snakes made by the Magicians (which had a temperory dillusion to people by takin the face of snakes)

All things agreed. But how does a commoner differentiate between the two?

Valid question.
IMO, a commoner/layman has to rely on the specialist in the field in which the 'miracle' falls. If the specialists after studying and observing the miracle comes to the conclusion that it is, then the layman should accept the opinion.
