Salaam alaikum,

Not authentic???

Hmmm.... So this namaaz does not substitute the ones that we have missed :!: :?:

Is it because we have the strength to repay our Qadhaa? How about those who do not have the strength to repay the Qadhaa salaahs?

imz - Thanks for sharing the information with us.

if u read the previous post it has been concluded that this "namaaz" is inauthentic. its purpose was "to fill in all our qadha namaaz that we had". but since consulting several learned scholars, it was decided this is inauthentic. to jetla qazaa hoi, badha paru khapse.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful What you missed of your wajib prayer MUST be performed again as a Qadha.

Salaam.

I would still have to recite qadha for the prayers I missed. Right?

That has no relationship with the Wajib. This is a mustahab namaz

Question : salaam alaykum.

hope you are in good health inshallah. i wanted to ask about the
authenticity of namaaz-e qaza-e-umr. which is as said, recited on the last
friday of ramadhan. i just wanted to know if this is authentic and true.

Jazakallah.

Iltimase dua.

As per the discussion above, I would not say that the namaaz is inauthentic.

My conclusion would be that the namaaz is mustahab and very authentic. However we seem to have misinterpreted what its benefits are.

Since, the reply acknowledges that the namaaz exists and is mustahab, it is wrong to call it inauthentic. It was our interpretation plus maybe the way the prayer was portrayed based on authentic tradition that we misinterpreted its meaning.

We should research into the tradition that recommends this namaaz and we shall inshallah know what benefits there are. Maybe the benefits are equivalent to 700 years of namaaz!!!

Allah knows best and He is the Most Merciful.

Salaams Imran,
We have come across this before. On enquiring with some learned people they said it is not authentic. The Ulama say there is no substitute for Qadha namaz and the debt of Qadha namaaz will always need to be repaid.
