IN SYIR WE ARE HUNGRY OF LAUGHTER

Postby Ustaz Hussein » 15 Sep 2009, 14:57

In Syria where people are very poor and the Iraqi refugees begging on the streets, people are against jokes. When i came here, as a Tanzanian, i used to make jokes with them and try to make them laugh but the result of which they wanted to beat me because they are against jokes and laughter

Hmm...
From your description so far Syria sounds like a prison. Tell me again, you went there voluntarily?

I remember listening to a hadeeth of the Holy Prophet (as) which said something to the effect of, 'if you know what I know you would smile not/less and cry much'
