I am doing some research n well I was just wondering if any one knew if there was an ayat in the quran that says not to follow things blindly n if we do Allah will punish us ???

It’s a very specific ayat you are asking for. I don’t know if the one at the bottom will do?

"And do not follow (blindly) any information of which you have no direct knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception, you must verify it for yourself). In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning." [17:36]
How does he, whose guardian is Allah, get perished? And how can he, who is being pursued by Allah, get salvation? (Imam Mohammad Taqi (as))
