Salaams
Hope this reaches in best health
Just to give a brief idea of what message The Ayatollah gave - he blessed us with the message of Wilayat and its importance to keep hold of it. He gave a few Ahadith including the following
Imam Ali (AS) to his sons " Always fight the oppressors and always support the opressed. He linked it to wilayat by saying that if people forget the Wilayat they will be oppressed.
He also spoke about the Africans being oppressed by the colonialists.
And he stressed that humans have been given a God given Honor and that no one can rule over a free human being.
He also said that we have 3 enemies
1) Disbelivers
2) hypocrites
3) Aggressive Jews
He also touched on the 2 world wars in the past century and its impact on Islam
the first world war lead to the fall of ottoman empire while the second world war lead to formation of institutions (such as UN) that work against the Muslim nations

NOTE: This may not be what message he was trying to portray, but this is what message i got.
"The ink of a scholar is holier than the blood of a martyr"
