what would you think should be a fair advert rate for advertising on Ask using similar banners like the ones currently on every page?

I am no expert, but I had seen one website which was fairly active (ask is much more) ask for around $50 a month. With that amount, the web hosting can be sustained and the profit made be used to fund other Ask projects as well.

We can try by approaching some companies and checking out their views...many will agree if we can show them facts that people do visit ASK and there will be a benefit to their company!
