MUHIMBILI UNIVERSITYMATRICULATION EXAMINATION FOR APPLICANTS OFUNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR THEACADEMIC YEAR 2007/2008 AT THE MUHIMBILIUNIVERSITYAll applicants of undergraduate degree programmes for academic year2007/2008 at the Muhimbili University will have to sit for MatriculationExamination to be held on the 26thand 27thJune, 2007 together withapplicants from University of Dar es salaam and UCLAS. The results of theMatriculation Examination will be combined with other qualifications of theapplicants to determine admission into the University.Matriculation Examination is made up of two papers, Paper I will test thegeneral knowledge, ability to reason mathematically, and proficiency in EnglishLanguage while Paper II will test a grasp of the fundamental of A-levelsubjects.The Matriculation Examination will be held at the following centres: Arusha,Bukoba, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Iringa, Kampala, Kigoma, Mbeya,Morogoro, Moshi, Mtwara, Musoma, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Songea,Tabora, Tanga and Zanzibar.All applicants should deposit a non-refundable Matriculation Examination fee ofTshs 15,000/= for Tanzanians and USD 15 for non-Tanzanians into theUniversity of Dar es Salaam NBC Bank Account number 040103001709 (Mlimanibranch). Please note that applicants are required to show a pay-in slipto be allowed entrance in the Matriculation Examination room.All applicants are required to email, fax, post or bring in person the followinginformation to the Muhimbili University before Wednesday June 6, 2007indicating;•The centre which he/she will sit for the Matriculation Examination and•Three subjects of his/her choice out of Physics, Chemistry, Biology,Advanced Mathematics and Geography for the Paper II of theMatriculation ExaminationThose who have applied for admission into Muhimbili, UDSM and/or UCLASprogrammes separately are advised to list down all the degree programmesthey have applied to these Universities collectively in descending order ofpreference
