Leo Club of Dar es Salaam Friends ( A community service club based in Dar es Salaam) ( http://www.leo.or.tz ) is once again organizing a Fund-raising adventurous expedition to the roof of Africa and the white snows of Kilimanjaro!
Dates: 17 - 24 December 2004 (See snow this christmass
)
Cost: 220,000/- per person
(Includes: transport, hotel lodging, porters, guides, park fees, hut fees)
(Excludes: Tips, Lunch on the way to and fro DSM, Equipment hiring)
Please note that there are very limited seats this year as compared to last. The policy is first come first served.
Hence if you are interested to join, the earlier you register, the better chances you have of getting one of the limited seats. The Club does not guarantee that your registration will be approved and the Club retains the right to reject any registration request.
The following is the procedure of registering yourself.
1. Call 0748 481518 or 0741 555055(ME :) ) or email alijawad@leotz.org (sending a copy of the email to info@leotz.org) requesting to be registered.
2. You will be emailed or given a registration/consent form to be filled. (This form shall spell out rules & regulations, will require some details from you and will have to be signed by you-if you are independent, or your guardian)
3. The form will have to be submitted to Leo Club by or before the end of 8 December, together with a down-payment, which will be non-refundable. (The Club shall let you know if your application is approved or not. If its not approved your money will be refunded).
4. Once you are registered, you will constantly receive emails and information about the climb, the tips and tricks, the facts and figures, and will be invited to attend the official meetings of the group, where several issues will be discussed, including the route, Q&A's, Parent concerns, Rules & Regulations, First Aid etc etc.
