Pls join facebook and search for the group" islamic pickup lines" look at the discussions going on there have been ayats of the Quran posted cursing and god knows wat else coz there are more than a 100 or 1000(not sure how many zeroes)posts i doubt they will come to discuss

Shirk is not the only sin! There are other sins and I believe defaming Islam is one of them.

I dont agree with you there!. Non-muslims can be informed of muslims' sense of humour in better ways compared to these lines. These lines, I repeat, are in no way Islamic. Just as the terrorists do things in the name of Islam, so do the authors of these lines.

Also if non muslims start judging us by jokes that would be their mistake would you judge christianity by the jokes that are made regarding priests??

Again they are named ISLAMIC pickup lines because they have islamic terminologies in them and in order to get to non muslims having the view of us being terrorists dont we need to connect with em on their level??they could actually relate to this .....imagine(i know am being very ambitious??)a non muslim reads no57 and questions what is an abaya??finds the answer then wonders hmmm why do they wear this and in the answer they find the reasoning behind the hijab being wajib....a bit far fetched i admit but still.....

Very simple, Islam is a religion of substance and has no place for non sensical talk. Each and every pickup line was a blob of non sense that insults the islamic beliefs and traditions!

Allah swt says in the Quran in Surah al Mudatthir 42-45: "What was it that brought you to hell, They shall say: 1. We were not of those who prayed, 2. we did not feed the poor, 3. [b]WE USED TO TALK VANITIES WITH VAIN TALKERS!"[/b]

There is no objection to humor in Islam, but when we find insults against our own beliefs and customs humorous, I believe that puts a very big question mark to our sense of integrity! doesn't it?

Incorrect reasoning. The ends do NOT justify the means. There are better ways of attracting non-muslims and showing them the true Islam. These lines as I have posted earlier before, contain Islamic termonologies bent to favour western customs. (Will explain later)
