Come on guys okay!!! If Mazhar posted that maybe coz he taught we ought to know how people are making fun of our religion!!! Come on, think positive please!!! Why do we always think this is unislamic n stuff like that. He shared with us, and we shoud thank him for sharing, for now atleast we know what peopelthink of Islam, if he will not post it here, where will he post??? Come on please!! Our job now is to thank him and do something about it (as in make Islam look like a positive religion, not neg as ppl think)

i did the same. this is a forum. and ppl can post their opinions and info's. a forum is a place where people discuss, share, talk, fight, befriends etc.

and telling a member to delete or edit a post is hideous. coz always one should discuss and recorrect instead to make it invisible. it wasnt that bad either.

kulsham let me explain what an islamic pickup line is....Its a normal pickup line that uses stuff that muslims believe in and making the pickup line like no63 it uses gunah n sawab which are associated with islam or no31 where zamzam is used..... get it??

Kulsham the fact that i ASKED u to delete the post makes it very clear that i did not impose it on you and if i remember correctly you did not do so in the first intance,you had initially protested and your protests were heard and then YOU deleted the post not me nor any moderator it was YOU ...i understand u are angry and appreciate you voicing your concerns but i am asking you to read what i had written to you again regarding your post and understand the reasoning behind it then if you find that i am wrong please let us know so we can continue engaging in dialogue instead of letting our feelings simmer inside of us

Well, if 'just having fun' is alright, then drinking, gambling and the like should be practiced by the people who made these lines.

Muhammad mahdi let me define fun as meant by the people who came up with these lines it was never meant for use everybody knows using it will be haram the lines were made just so as to have a laugh sawa...what i wanted to know is are we allowed to come up with them just so as to have a laugh??

As regards drinking,gambling and the like being done by the people who came up with these then i do not agree with you for we cannot judge that just because they came up with these lines it means that they indulge in all these vices...plus because they are muslims and we have not seen them doing any of the things we cannot say they do these things

Wether it was just for a laugh or for use does not matter. Non-muslims, and muslims without enough Islamic knowledge may judge Islam wrongly due to 'jokes' such as these ones.

Islam has kept many other halal doors of enjoyment open. Why not practice those.

I get what you are saying but the point of these pickup lines is not to ponder over the meanings when i first read em i had a laugh then i thought about it and it gave me a guilty feeling something i cannot explain as if it were wrong to make up these but you ll need to give a really good explanation to actually convince me and the ones who made em up that they are wrong(against sharia)

Pls join facebook and search for the group" islamic pickup lines" look at the discussions going on there have been ayats of the Quran posted cursing and god knows wat else coz there are more than a 100 or 1000(not sure how many zeroes)posts i doubt they will come to discuss

his aim was not preach that ppl shud use the pick up lines. And whoever uses them He and His Allah.

On the contrary kulsham when non-muslims read this they will realise muslims do have a sense of humour and change their perspective of us from terrorists jus blowing themselves up however a line must be drawn our jokes should not under any circumstances make fun of the Prophet(as),the nabis nor imams as done by the danish cartoons also as zaheer stated abt jokes reaching a stage of shirk

Also if non muslims start judging us by jokes that would be their mistake would you judge christianity by the jokes that are made regarding priests??
