Tawdhiul masael of Ahga Seestani says that for those who do not do the major muslim beliefs like praying and fasting (not done by ISMAILIS) are kafirs.

Sura al kahf ayah number 9 says :...let him see which one of them has the purest food..."


In Imam Ali 's letter to Uthman ibn Hunayf ansari who was Imam's governor of Basrah Iamam says
"LOOK AT THE MORSELS YOU TAKE, LEAVE OUT THAT ABOUT WHICH YOU ARE IN DOUBT AND TAKE THAT IT HAS BEEN SECURED LAWFULLY"


Imam clearly shows us what we should avoid.

i was just reading this thread which had an amazing discussion going on about food.

I have heard there are significant changes in masael of some Mujtahids as to who is taahir and who is not.

Any ideas on these changes?
