I have a student loan. My loan agreement stipulates repayments in yearly installments. If I have paid my current year installment, is it valid for me to go for Haj? Or is it better to pay the future yearly installments in advance before saving for Haj?

Accordng to Agha Sistani, any outstanding loan must be paid in full before Hajj becomes wajib. However, if you have paid yearly installment, if extra savings suffice for hajj, you could give it as conditional gift (hiba mashrootwa) to someone with conditon that he/she should sponsor you for hajj! May God Help you make right decision to please Him
