Are we allowed to have fixed deposit accounts in a bank?

I have asked around but have been given conflicting answers. Please guide.

Please advise if having a fixed deposit account in a bank is permissible?

Please advise if having a fixed deposit account is haraam? if yes than the reason for it? And if it is permissible, then any conditions?

It is permissible and the interest given by the bank is halal from non-Muslim (private or state-owned) banks reason Allah knows better about his creation we have to submit and follow the rules
