Bi-Ismi Jalaal wal-Jamaal.

as-Salaamun 'aleykum warahmatullah

I pray all of you are in the best of health insha'Allah.

'Hawza Studying Method' is the best way to understand and memorize the lessons for a longer period than any other method used for studying today.

The first and the foremost method is 'al-'ilm ma'a al-mumaarisah' meaning: "Knowledge and learning should always be along with Practice". This is the method of our 'Ulamaa and 'Aarifs, and it's the teachings of the Prophets (s.'a.w.w) and our Imaams ('a.s).

So:

1. Study and Practice
2. Mubahatha or Munaaqashah, meaning: Discussion or Debate

Method of Mubaahatha or Munaaqashah:
Two brothers or two sisters can sit together after studying a lesson or listening to a lecture and teach oneanother again, starting by one and ending by the other. This will not only benefit you from remembering the lesson properly, but it will also stay in your mind for a very long period of time.

Mubaahatha is so important that it is Waajib (Compulsory) in the Hawza and the Madaaris in Qom.

3. Write a Summary on the lesson and revise it
4. You won't need to Memorize the lesson because you will be already knowing it by heart by then.
5. Teach others, write articles, a book, or keep discussing with friends and family.

I hope and pray this method be useful for all the bothers and sisters and to share with us about their use of it.

Thank you.

Fi-Amaanillah
