What is Islams view on extended families (cousins, uncles, in-laws)? Are we allowed to maintain relations with na-mahram family members?

cousins must observe HIJAAB in front of the opposite gender In-laws: except for father in law and mother in law or their parents and
their children , the HIJAAB is not required, other than that the HIJAAB is
required
Cousin: the HIJAAB is required between them for the opposite genders.

With observing the above rules of HIJAAB yes one can maintain the
relations.
