i have been told of a hadith (pls confirm if its authentic) of Imam Ali (AS) that says 'Women are evil'

If this hadith is correct, pls shed some light on what our ulema intepret this hadith as and if its applicable to all women

If the HADEETH is authentic then it has to be taken in its historical
context and not out of it, these sentences or similar were said by Imam Ali (AS) on the movement of AAESHA the wife of the Prophet (S) and is applied on
woman similar to her who cause damage to the Muslim society and for sure it
does not include the righteous ones.
