My friend came across this very cool Arabic interactive learning website that has pictures and audio, and a very fun and easy interface. Clicking on any word or sentence will tell you it's meaning and how to pronounce it, and for nouns displays a picture as well. It's fantastic!
Here is the table of contents for level one, which starts with the basics, and introduces the language in a way that is very easy to understand. The lessons loads into a sort of mini-application, but works perfectly even with a slow Internet connection.
